Automatic ON/OFF Headlights???

I know there are some threads in the past talking about Auotmatic on/off headlights not being available, but are there any new Mods available to add this feature? I would really love this feature. Someone could make a fortune if they came up with it!

LOL...Automatic on? Sure - activate the DRL function for your headlights. Automatically on whenever the car starts. Automatic off? Shut off the car.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any after market modifications that have been discussed on this forum that allow the headlights to turn on and off based on ambient lighting.

I can confirm what bbywu says about there being no aftermarket solution. I did a little research on the subject a while back and it can not be done after the fact on a Porsche. The electrical interaction between the auto on/off and the rest of the cars electrical system is unusually complex for some reason. Guess cause Porsche doesn't want you to have it.

Good afternoon gentlemen,

There is a solution for 911 997, Boxster and Cayman 987 and CAYENNE 955 and 957.
I run it on my 997 TT; installed in minutes and almost invisible.
No need to change the original switch

its called PALS, check autolightsystems com website.

Cheers
