My lugs are rusted, I might paint but I wondering if there was other options better.

I want to go black for sure, preferably anodized gloss.

Also does anyone know what size I need for a 1999 996 convertible 2 wheel drive.

Try www.boothedesign.com

I got some really nice chrome ones from him. BTW, they're lug bolts, not nuts on a 996.
