Random + Inexpensive ways to make your 996 unique

Hi 6speed, Thought to make a thread that has Random ideas to add to your vehicles that are neat and can be done without digging too far into your pockets.

I'd like to see what the community can conjure

Here is something to start with, added it a few months ago. Almost everyone that has ridden along has always had to take a double look and get a good laugh.

no they are vinyl decals, costs roughly 50-60$ to make them a few times to get the right sizing I was aiming for. never looked into actually getting them etched in tho, might be something worth looking into.

I had these at first but what I did not like about them were that its more of a kids sticker then a decal, also I wasn't a fan of the square edges that are very noticeable...

Not necessarily going for unique, but found cheap solutions.

1. Velcro-like picture hanging tabs ($1.79) to securely mount my hard-wired Magellan GPS over the oddments tray. I got tired of the window mount and hanging wires. Also, since this GPS unit will find sats from inside my house, there was no problem finding them from this low on the console. Works perfectly.

2. Satechi Soundfly SD w/remote ($39.95) to provide music....and lots of it. Since it's very expensive to get direct-wired sound to the Bose MOST fiber-optic system, I researched and found the most powerful and best FM transmitted sound. This is the best one, and I'm picky about sound. Plays SD cards, USB drives, and output (1/8th in.) from iPhones, iPods, or anything else. I shows artists and titles on the Becker CDR023 screen (RDS). It will overpower all but the most powerful FM stations. Works perfectly.
