New here

Hello. Couldn't decide where I should post my introduction thread, so I chose here since I just bought my 2002 Carrera a couple weeks ago.

I am absolutely loving the car so far. My only complaint would be the speedo is on the wrong side since I drive with one hand at 12 o'clock most of the time.
I've had the car up in the mountains and it definitely shines up there on the twisties!!

I have already talked to the dealer that has done all the maintenance on the car, and they said the IMS has not been done yet. I guess that will be in my future.
One cool thing he mentioned was that the original owner of this car took delivery in Stuttgart and then had it shipped here.

Here is a couple pics.

A couple pics of my other rides too.
2000 Corvette
2007 Trailblazer SS
I also have 2003 Tahoe but no pictures handy.

In case you haven't noticed the theme, yes all my vehicles are dark blue, lol.

Thanks, but no stripes for the Porsche.

That is a Corvette thing. The Trailblazer has them since it has the Corvette LS2 in it and tows the Vette sometimes to the track. The license plate says "S.U.Vett" (Sport Utility Vette)

Welcome. Love the blue on the Porsche. Red stripes are for two things: Corvettes and Jamacain beer!

Thanks!

You've got a nice collection going yourself!!
If I was you I'd stick with the red stripe theme for the Porsche too, it's not over the top and it'll look awesome parked next to your other rides .

Cheers!

Sid.

Welcome from another blue 996 owner in Colorado! These cars are a blast in the mountains. I just had mine up Squaw Pass Road over the weekend and it was great.

Thanks again Sid, but no stripes for the Porsche.

Dennis, I had mine up at Steamboat last week. It was a fun drive until I hit snow at the tunnel on the way down in to Denver!!!

I'm not sure sorry. From what I understand, the original owner had it put on from the factory.

Nice cars & color! Forget the red stripes are you going to put those silver engine snakes on the Porsche too?
