Are my front speakers wrongly wired?

Hi all

I just took out my dash speakers to replace them with something a little bit less... paperish.

I noticed something very odd, however... the wiring is "inconsistent". It looks like one of the speakers had the - reversed. My car is stock and has never been modded, so it seems like the factory made a mistake wiring the speakers. I know it sounds crazy, but since I couldn't find the pinout anywhere, I thought I'd post a picture here to ask for your opinion.

As you can see, on one connector, the "all black" wire is connected to -, and on the other one, it's connected to +. Makes no sense to me.

What should I do about this?

Looks like my rear are also "wrongly" wired the same, so I guess this is normal. No idea what the engineers were thinking...

The reverse wiring will result in the speakers being out of phase - I believe this may increase the perceived stereo seperation. Maybe they did it on purpose?.

Out of phase speakers means bass cancellation. It does not result in better stereo separation and would be a ridiculous thing to do...

I wired my new speakers "wrongly" and the bass seems to be fine, so I assume that I am not out of phase. Hopefully this is right!
