So I was late driving to work today with my radar detector plugged in while my phone was dying. I had to face a dillemma, plug in my phone and risk a ticket or let my phone die. This happens alot to me (stupid 4g phones) as well as when I want to have my performance timer plugged in along with 1 or 2 more things.

Has anyone successfully added any additional 12v sockets in the glove box or elsewhere?

I added 2 extra sockets by tying into the phone power cords located under the center console. You can access the power cords by pulling off the passenger side cover just above the center console and fishing around inside. I bought a self adhesive 2 socket adapter and stuck it under the passenger side of the dash. The phone power wires are toggled with the ignition, so I keep my radar detector plugged into one of the additional sockets.
