Cool

Muffler bypass is a misnomer. It is really a muffler delete pipe. You do know what they look light right? A small curved piece of exhaust pipe.

All you would be eliminating is the small piece of pipe to route the exhaust from the cat delete pipe to out from under the bumper.

What would that accomplish?

It actually does sound a bit different. I love the sound of my muffler bypass pipes. When i cut the tips off them to weld on the 997s tips i had to drive the car to the muffler shop with the bypass pipes off. It sounds really bad and makes the car feel sluggish. Just keep both delete pipes on

Muffs gone

I took the muffs off and use the fabspeed bypass pipes. Great sound Neighbors hate me Sunday mornings, the sound is dependent on how aggressive you drive.

Yeah I know, muffler bypass is delete. It's the J pipe.

What would that accomplish? It's a "I wonder" question. People's input, lost of power, sound difference, sluggish. There, accomplished.

Cool

I just think you would want to route the exhaust out from under the bumper......for heat and smell.

Yeah I took it off, it sounded different. But I put it back, I just wanted to see how it'd be. That's all.
