A black e-brake can be had fairly inexpensively. It's the black steering wheel with airbag that will set you back some bucks (~$750). You could balance out the expense by selling your leather airbag....your steering wheel and e-brake might be a tough sell.

Would look good in black when complete.

How about having your steering wheel recovered from dallas steering? They could probably cover over the wood trim and even make the steering wheel thicker. Price would be very inexpensive also.

Is that a '99? I believe the 99s came standard with the black side air vents, horseshoe and horizontal trim piece. That being the case, you have a lot going on in there- white gauge faces, black dash accents, silver accents, beige leather and vinyl, plus the wood. I think the conflict is between the silver accents and black accents. If you went all silver or went back to black on the ones that you painted silver you could easily keep the wood.

I will probably be in the minority here but the silver console and door trim does nothing for me. I would have gone for wood on both. IMHO.

I really want the silver console! Where is everyone finding these? Although, if I could get it painted body color...hmmm

My suggestion is try and pick one theme. Not a fan of wood, so that would not be my choice, but what FLY said, it may be tough to sell that particular one.

Its a millenium, i still have the wood, i just swap it... the lower lids cracked... the interior is actually natural leather.... I WAS SO PISSED OFF ABOUT THE ORIGINAL ALLUMILOOK TRIM Cracked so many times... I was not going to spend 100 = + or- for it, i went ahead and got the illuminated shifter and boot assembly for 140$..... The thing is that the original shifter is wood, so it recalled the rest of the interior...
@ Dhar, kind of agree the wood has a special touch....
@ GoAirforce, I found the console on ebay, bought the ash tray delete, painted the rest (my original console is leather wrapped).

next week i'll put the wood shifter on...
