Help with removing instrument panel
I've removed the warning light button marked "12" in the PDF, and I have what you see in the pic. The instructions say to press the right hook "B" towards the switch and pull the switch out by gripping the switch with a pair of pliers. I'm using duck billed pliers on the item marked "13" to distribute the pressure on the plastic, and I have both left and right hooks pressed inward towards the switch, but it doesn't want to come out. It appears that there may be a slight interference with "14", but I don't think it is enough to hold it in place. "14" is pushed out from behind after the instrument panel is loose.
How hard do I dare pull on this switch?

I just can't get this flange piece off. I've got a small plastic prybar that is made for removing interior parts. It won't budge and I'm afraid to pry any harder. Is there a trick to getting this flange off? I also still can't get the switch out following the instructions in the manual.

I finally got the bezel off. None of the above methods worked. However, if you take a flat screwdriver and stick it into the rectangular hole on the inside right surface of the bezel. Then with a pair of pliers grab the screwdriver and pull out quickly. I hope this helps.

pull the bezel off first, then take the screw out from behind.
then lift the whole gauge pod up (its clipped in) and go behind the hazard button and use a flat head to push it out (while squeezing the front clips ofcourse).
much much easier to do.
i usually pry the bezel from the right side first.
