Spray for your license plate to protect against traffic cameras?

Has anyone used one of the sprays that you apply to your license plate to protect against photo radar and traffic cameras? It produces a glare that makes the license plate unreadable when the camera flashes and takes a picture.

I think there are quite a few brands of sprays on the market. Does anyone know which one is the best?

Thanks.

why would a camera use a flash in the daylight?

The spray doesn't work that well in the daytime. Buy the plastic cover instead, they cost more but work day and night.

It's true that you could possibly receive an "illegible tag" citation that could cost up to $ 50 depending on where you receive it but it is not a moving violation as is running a red light or speeding. Also who is going to stop you to issue this citation to you? And finally, mine is just a "protective "license plate cover to keep my plate in pristine condition like my car

A CHP officer told me (while writing me a ticket on my bike) that he would not pay a ticket issued to him in the mail.
There is no way they can verfiy you received the citation nor are you "properly served"
He indicated that they are looking to receive about 50% of the fines they send out.

traffic tickets and the process have little to nothing to do with normal civil and criminal process (be ready for the "driving is a priviledge - not a right" speech). try ignoring a ticket by mail and i'll bet you the price of the ticket plus fines (you get to pay the increased insurance for 3+ years though) you'll find that your driver's license is suspended, your car impounded, and you'll be taken to jail the next time you're pulled over.

false, you dont pay you are asking for even more trouble. best bet is to not run red lights and if by chance you do it just pay your fine and move on. why argue or try to cheat your way out of something you ilegally did, specially when you get caught on camera

typically it goes citation mailed, due, default, failure to appear, Fat *** fines + Warrant for arrest + possibly suspension of DL, upon arrest possibly impounding for driving under suspended DL.

BTW guys it is a requirement that when you move to update your new address within what 20 days???? Failure to do so is basically like a cognitive note- waiver of notice, and consent to judgement although reduction in some penalties etc. can be had ex posto facto

Trust me I was a stupid kid and have been arrested not once but twice for warrants on stupid little tickets that became huge tickets and screwed me on ins down the road.

P.S. - Ben smells- Back to studying Civ. Pro II UGHGHGHGHGH
