I have a factory Nav radio in my 2004 40th AE. Suddenly, the RDS (where the station name, artist and song are displayed) stopped working for one station. I live in Los Angleles and that station is 100.3 The Sound. All other stations display and update their listings without difficulty. I jumped in another of my vehicles with RDS and the station (100.3)displays updated information perfectly for this station.

I've deleted the station from presets, moved up and down incremental frequencies, have been out of range of the station so the radio has to reacquire the station's signal. All I get is 'The Sound' and 'Sally' alternating on the display. I recall hearing 'Sneaking Sally Through the Alley' that was playing at some point before the malfunction.

So the station seems to be sending the signal data, and the radio seems to be receiving signal data from other stations. It just seems to be 'stuck' relating to this single station.

Any ideas?

I live in the Inland Empire. 40th A.E. Owner. We should meet up. Me and another guy in S.D. who owns a 40th A.E. meet up on occasion. Were trying to get more A.E. together.

Feel free to let me know when you are thinking of getting together. Traffic is often crazy going your way, however depending on day/time might work out. I am on the west side.

I occasionally see another 40th AE in the parking lot of my gym. Not sure I've seen many others.
