So I'm doing some appearance mods on my 40th. I have some people that disagree with that decision and have some people encouraging the decision. Is the 40th really going to be a collector car? I'm putting a turbo rear bumper and a gt2 rear wing. Possibly a gt2 front end. The question to you guys is should I keep my stock partake or should I get what ever dollars I could get for them?

 

Hard to say whether or not it's going to have any collector value in the future. If it were mine, I would limit modifications to those things that can be easily reversed and I would keep all of the original pieces.

 

+1. You never know when/if you'll want it to be back to its original (and beautiful) looks.

 

I concur wouldnt make any extra holes in the bodywork. I've added xm radio, and some perf mods that can always go back to stock.

 

I would keep anything you take off. You can always sell it,but it's hard to get it all back.
