Updated:MY 2001 996 911

Hey guys,

I recently had the car polished and waxed by a detail shop enjoy the pics. She is still beautiful even with these standard MK II wheels. Btw What would look better black or polished silver wheels you think?

Can Anyone here Photoshop my car with polished black or gun metal wheels?..... I am curious to see what it would look like.

Thanks!

I have the same color. I think it needs silver wheels.

Nice car and +1 on the silver rims. I like contrast so as a general rule for me is:
Dark Car = lighter rims
Lighter car = darker rims
That's just me though, and I've certainly seen nice combinations of dark/dark or light/light that still look good in my opintion, or some machined rims that are dark on the inside but polished on the outside that could go either way. As long as you're happy...

Also, for photoshopping you can go to tirerack.com, select your car (and color), and then select dark or light rims to get a general feel. I've wasted many hours doing this with various cars and rims. There are probably other wheel sites that do this as well.

I like these wheels on ebay, but I don't know anything about the brand. They look like 997 wheels, but are 18 inch.

Beautiful rim might look weird on a green 911 though.
Hmmm... I don't know how this would look can you photo shop a picture with my green in it?

I LOVE the gold rims - green is a warm color and so would go well with gold. However, I don't think gold is quite as fashionable as it used to be. I would not go with black - too dark. But some silver forgeline or powdercoated green wheels to match the car would be smashing. It is a beautiful green
