brake light issues

So today I noticed that my brake lights are not working. I am glad I caught it before I got rear ended. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

+1 on that. I got the LED 3rd brake light on eBay, real nice and bright and won't burn out!

My first guess would be the brake switch. You might try giving it a wiggle test.

Check the fuse but my WAG based on my experience with one of my cars is the brake light switch is worn out.

Sincerely,

Macster.
