Hey JB, welcome to 6 Speed. This place has plenty of great information and knowledgeable people. Make sure to check out the Fabspeed products on Fabspeed.com. We have many different options in terms of sound and power. If its a street car, I recommend going with our X Pipe Sports Cats and Maxflo Mufflers for a nice sporty sound without being too aggressive. That setup will also make 12-14+ HP and improved engine response. You can also go louder by doing our Supercup Exhaust or Catbypass pipes also. PM me if you have any questions and for special member pricing.
Thanks,

dotframe is infamous around these parts
I have to agree with the others about attending a few DE events!!! You'll learn very quickly what your car may or may not need.

I must warn you though that it can be very addictive!

Also agree with trying out some track events. If you haven't done them before, it will be some time before your skill exceeds the capabilities of your car (even stock). On the other hand, if modifying is part of your enjoyment -- there's almost no end to the choices. Cosmetics (inside or outside), power, sound, handling, etc......

Try the Maverick PCA. http://mav.pca.org/
Or drive down for a www.lsrpca.com event at Texas World Speedway. They are having club races there this weekend. Very fun event to come out and watch. They will let you do parade laps on the track at lunch time.
