I could just puke
I could just puke
Wrecked my car today. Over cooked a U-turn. Sand, slick road, who knows. Just slid right into a 15" curb. Broke the lower A-arm, bent just about everything undernieth. Even from inside the trunk it's bent up. Rim is badly rashed. Just mounted these wheels yesterday. Are Conti's less sticky than Michilins? Give me an excuse please. Pride is hurt bad.

Now looking on the bright side.... Insurance is going to be paying for a new bumber cover (among many other things). Sugestions?
M,
Those wheels look familiar, sorry to hear about that, I don't think the tires are to blame
I hate to say it, but it sounds like pilot error. It can be fixed, it's happened to a lot of us, It'll be fine.
Good Luck

Any contacts in New Orleans? A buddy with a shop here maybe? Suggestions on sourcing parts?
The shop that did my PPI will never see another dime from me. They missed a cracked windshield fluid resevior and body fill on the rear bumper cover.
