Plastidipping my whole car!!!!
If the gun didn't screw up on the last coats I'm sure it would have come out great. But reading more into it,you can't wash it with regular microfiber towels, you need a special towel blah blah. I thought it was a cool thing to try,but def a cheap way out from wrapping. I am going to practice wrapping on some old body panels then do my truck over,we'll see how that goes. If anyone is going to try this i suggest using a regular auto paint gun and not the wagner.
Yes it doesn't protect the paint very well. Although my clear wasn't damaged (after 4 months of use) it took two clay bar jobs (weeks in-between) and 6 coats of wax to become nice again. I would say 18 hours of clay/wax/washing over the course of two months in the summer....I wouldn't do it again unless the car was a heap!

BTW, I've seen ads on Craigslist for the Plastidipping service. Pretty scary...unless you have a $500 Honduh.
I'm sure a harder metal with out clear coats should be fine, so long as they are very clean. I could only imagine the damage if they have break dust and it is covered for so long.
