I think I agree with you on the selection of the 996 C4S.
No, the 996TT I was going to buy craped out on the PPI, so I'm Porsche Less at this point. The Cayman is 2008, Certified Pre-Owned until 11/13, the C4S is comming out of an owners fleet. Both absolutily perfict, think the C4S is the way to go. But it's a 2003 and is not warrantied.

Either would be fine. If you've never driven a Cayman, you should. Nothing like that rear-engine configuration. Less room inside so if you like the spaciousness of a 911 get that. If not, drive them both. Completely different animals and you may prefer one over the other. Either way you win.
Two very different cars. I work for a dealer and we have an '08 Cayman S Design Edition 1 here. I've driven it and was really impressed but I'd still go for the C4S hands down, I'm a 911 guy since 1999 and always will be.
