Frank, from Orange Tuning, told me that Dectane is making the wide-body version now and it will be out late this summer.

Nice job with the LED DRLs. The integrate nicely into the front grills. How are the attached and wired?

Bale,

How's the brightness on the rear tails? Is it blindingly bright or just right?

When the brakes are applied, it looks pretty bright. I don't want the tails to "overwhelm" the look of the car if they're too bright.

Just want to clarify before I purchase!

Without removing the bumper, I wired the lights from the grills to the hood latch mechanism using a coat hanger. I placed the control module in the frunk and connected it to the battery. Then the lights cords were tunnelled around the trunk trim to the control module. Finally I used Scotts 10lb double sided tape to secure the lights to the grill. Thats it.The lights turn on/off with the car.

The hardest part was wiring the passenger grill to the hood latch.
I could have used the supplied screws and housing, but the light would have protruded pretty far from the grill and looked ugly.
The double sided tape has held up to multiple car washes. The ideal double sided tape is 3M VHB tape which is almost like super glue.

I don't think the lights are "too" bright at all. In fact, LEDs in general are not as bright as incandescent, so they take alot to generate the same level of light. My pic may be deceiving since I'm so close to the lights.

Thanks.
There are 4 choices I know of for the Dectane lights.
Pitlane
Ebay
Orange Tuning
Carlightpro

I bought mine from Pitlane since it was the cheapest. However, it took 1 month to get imported.
Carlightpro is the only US distributor of Dectanes, but they charge the most at $850.

Are the front lights mounted to the grill using screws? I've seen some kits that use adhesive tape, and that doesn't seem too secure to me...

Jcusa,

Your car is a 2001 C4? So, these rear tails fit WB? I thought they didn't make them for WB. Are '01 C4/C4S NB? I need some correction here. Lol.

No his car is a NB. The C4S which began in 2002 was a WB. C2/C4 is a NB. And the Dectanes still aren't available in WB as far as I know.

Balefire, Thanks! I think your car looks sharp.

Shecky, he's spot-on. My car is a NB the 4S is the WB and the LEDs for the WBs will be out late this summer, at least that is what I was told.

Need your help fellas -

I ordered a pair of these from Pitlane a month ago and have not been able to get a response from the seller. I have sent emails to both parties listed on the paypal listing and the reply email from Pitlane.

Can any of you provide me a contact used for the Pitlane purchase?

Your help is truly appreciated.
