Hey Scantu,

I probably wouldn't worry too much. They were very honest and I checked all of their claimed postage dates and they were all spot on. It is just simply very slow via the routes they need to go (from one city to another to another then to an overseas country then to another city then your city).

Either way I got worried too and jumped up and down a bit and got a reply from the General Manager - he was a very nice guy.

Here are the details from his email signature including a phone number. Hope this helps.

Good luck, keep us posted!

No error codes at all - and unlike the other ones these are literally plug and play (no bulbs to add or anything).

Installation takes approx 2 mins per side (open hood, remove one philips head screw, pull out old tail light, unplug harness, plug harness into new light, replace philips head screw, close hood).

Hi guys,

I emailed pitlane where it looks like some of you already got your lights, and they are interested in doing a group buy. Anyone know what the process is for getting a group buy going?

Finally received the Dectane tail lights after a four month circuitous 6 nation global tour. I thought I'd be clever and seek direct factory fulfillment from Dectane AG. Not a great idea in hindsight. They did install in minutes, totally plug and play as advertised. A slight worry when testing the range of operation - there appeared not to be any central reverse lights. They are very dim in the bright sun, but they are there. I also ordered some LED rear plate lights, and they sent ones for BMW/Mercedes/VW/AUDI...I suppose we'll put these on wife's car.

Congrats on the lights. They still make me smile every time I look at the rear.
My led plate lights also said bmw etc but fit my car fine. I would try it first.

The more pics the more better

Looks like I need to order another 3rd brake light (will be my 4th) - strange since I rarely use the brakes.

Alas, on closer inspection they sent me LPLO01 for "OPEL Zafira and Astra" so won't work on wife's car either. Code is close enough to LPLPO01 which is the code for 911 plates...close but no cigar, as they say!

Which 3rd brake light did you buy the one that failed from? I know of only maxspeed motor sports and eBay that sells them.

Nice rear. Makes me wish I removed my bumperettes when I had my rear bumper resprayed.

I got this last one from "Euromotorspeed" on Ebay about 2 years ago. Eric at Bumperplugs had stopped carrying them back in 2008. Like tires, brake pads, and rotors on a Porsche, it seems they live fast and die young!
