Has anyone ever noticed PCM flickering

Has anyone ever noticed their PCM2 screen with a feint flickering when the car is off?

When I get in my car in the morning, before putting the key in the ignition, I notice a feint flicker of the pcm screen. It seems like the unit is not truly turned off. It is similar to the flicker you get on your television when switching to VCR mode and the VCR is powered off.

Any one have any ideas? Is it sucking power? Should I be worried?

should go away after about 2 minutes of idle or when you lock the car.

I have the same problem. Will take it to the dealer when the car is in for service.

Took it to the dealer, updated PCM 2.0 to 3.0. Flickering is gone, however, I have not noticed any thing else that the upgrade does.

did they also change hardware stuff or just put the upgrade cdrom in. Also with 3.0 did you have to change your nav DVD's

No hardware changes, just the cd upgrade. I already had the 3.0 cd's so they worked. Look on your navtec box, it will specify whether it is applicable.
