Has anyone (or can anyone) do a VOA on this DT40. I would love to see where the ZDDP comes in. Per Jake Raby's comments in a post (and analysis), this DT40 simply resists shearing big time. It was compared side by side to Mobile 0W-40 and blew it away.

I saw a UOA on Mobile 5W-50 that looked great. It was a tracked Cayman with 4500 on the oil. Is anyone using this and why or why not? Too much detergent? The ZDDP on it looked phenomenal.

Here is a company that sells ZDDP and they say newer cars don't need it.

Why would they say that...... Unless they really don't.
