Guess he can really grasp the idea of getting his stuff stolen. It doesn't matter where you live, it can happen anywhere and to anyone. If that were me I would have a state of the art survellance video install and get myself SIG SAUER P226

Luck and insurance is your best bet.

To me lojack was useless, cameras were useless, having a gun wouldn't have solved anything...

since i am deployed all over the world randomly through the year, i have a camera set up i can mointor over the internet as well as gps tracking and kill switch in my porsche, so if it turns on or anything i know and can cut if off, canot be turned back on unless i enable it. now for when i am home, i have a LWRC PSD 6.8SPC with micro eotech and tangodown vertical grip with surefire light and pressure tape. that little baby only has a 8inch barrel. for 200 in Fl you can get the ATF tax stamp for class three, and my handgun sig sauer 1911 scorpion .45.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments (and passion) around this. Still no luck in locating the wheels/tires. The good news is USAA Insurance stepped up. +1 to USAA, world class customer service. Just found some nice Turbo Twist Hollow Spokes with good rubber on them to replace the stolen set. Having them gloss blacked now and will be back in business soon. At least I still had the track set so this incident didn't spoil my time at Sears Point last weekend. :-)

I agree, rare to be able to ever find them, but IF you did/could, don't tires have unique serial numbers? Would be easy to prove ownership if you had the serial numbers off the tires recorded.

I know thw wheels well enough, having worked with them for 3+ years, to positively identify them if I ever locate them. And then take appropriate action. :-)
