Just received the PPI report. Leak down and compression test was ok. No oil leaks. Generally good report aside from the need to have the 2 rear tire replaced and the engine oil sump has a minor dent.
The car has done 88k kilometres and his suggestion is to replace the bearing at 100k as a preventative,meanwhile drive the car as it is. That a fair assumption?
While the risk is low, my view on these type of things is if you are planning on doing it soon anyway, why wait. Alternatively, if you have to do a clutch soon, that is the right time too.
