Coolant from exhaust

There appears to be coolant coming from my exhaust on the driver's side.
I have a new engine from Porsche, I think its a 2005 that replaced the original 2002 3.6.

it could be coolant pipe or expansion tank leaking. your best bet is raise the car and trace the leak. driving on a ramp or some planks of wood would be fairly easy. don't get under the car with scissor jacks.

My bet is the bottom of the expansion tank is cracked. Get it fixed fast, mine went from a drip that looked like it was coming out of the pipe one day to a full blown puddle the next day. It's the tank right above the drivers side exhaust tip.

Thanks. I had replaced the tank about a year ago. I also had unscrewed the top this morning and it didn't thread right going back on - seemed tight. It's all good, just a quick panic question.

If it's actually coming from the exhaust pipe then it could be a cracked cylinder sleeve pushing the coolant out the exhaust system. I know you said it was a new engine.

Do you mean the engine was replaced in 2005? If so, that's not new anymore and it could be almost anything. I would have it flat-bedded in and checked just to be safe.
