So What do you guys think...
Looks Great Corey.. She's coming together nicely. Take your time, that's the fun of modding. When it's over then what do you do, sell it? Half the fun is looking forward to the next Mod.. Cheers back at ya Bro. Kenny
aben8057,
I got the splitter from racers group and the bumper from suncoast.
My87Targa,
I know they can wet sand right away, but for best results you should let the paint bake for a week or two, three even better. I'd rather wait and have a perfect job especially on a dark coloured car. Some body shops do it right away and some wait. Since I waited so long for the bumper to be instock, I might as well wait and have it look perfect.
Cheers,
Corey

Corey,
Is the center hole for the 3rd radiator on your gt3 bumper covered as it was on the stock c2 bumper? If so, what application did you use. I believe if it were an aeokit II bumper it would have been covered with the black inner bracket, right?

The black plastic re-enforcement piece that snaps into the bottom of the bumper is available in 2 flavors, 1 with no hole in the center and 1 with. When you order an AeroKit II bumper kit you specifiy which one so they can get you the right retrofit kit. If you want to switch later, it's just a plastic piece for less than $100 bucks. The GT3 is the same bumper as the aerokit II (including the extra holes not used by the aerokit splitter but used by the GT3 splitter), in typical porsche fashion when the bumper is ordered alone(no kit) it costs more buying a whole kit.
I should add that I do have a center radiator sitting in the box for about a year and a half and have not gotton around to installing it. I forgot it was sitting up in my storage loft until you just mentioned it, so now I will have to order the other plastic piece so I can install it.
Cheers,
Corey
