A fresh new look with Techart bumper..

Well I was getting bored with my TT bumper after having it on for the last 10 years, it still looked nice but I always wanted the Techart bumper, after seeing the new 997 TT Techart bumper with LED DRL's I knew this was the look I wanted. Jeffery at Xtreme Motorcars was a pleasure to work with, we exchanged many emails over the last 2 months before I finally pulled the trigger. All of my questions answered in a very timely fashion as well as going the extra mile ordering a upgraded mesh for it. He also had the tow plug holes filled in at my request. The bumper is agressive but not over the top, the lines go well with my factory side skirts and the rear turbo bumper. I had the LED's wired so that they are day time running lights when the parking lights are on, and the first single light is the blinker. I also had the fog lights wired to come on the same time as the stock fog lights, it looks really good at night.. The fit and finish of the bumber was perfect some modification are necessary but an good body shop can handle it. I'm very happy with the new look, it's funny how many people ask if it's a brand new car, I laugh and say nope its actually 13 years young .. OK enough rambling on, here is a before and after..

After a 6 hour detail, these guys did an unbelieveable job!

Looks very nice! I love the mesh on the original front end, where did you get it? I'd like to do my C4S with it.

Don't you worry about paint scratches on your seat backs from the kids?

I got mine temporarily wrapped in scotch painters tape for now until I can get some clear 3m vinyl.

Besides being a bit of a hassle, they go barefoot often in the summer when they wear their sandals so still would have oily footprints.

I still haven't painted my seat backs yet so my alternative is to wrap the back in CF vinyl or something.

The original mesh I'm not sure as it came with the bumper, Mike at Mashaw sold it to me.

The new mesh is this...
