Darn PSE got the parking attendant pissed off ...What to do?

I was leaving work today (underground parking), and the parking attendant that waves goodbye to people, started to wave hands at me to slow down. This is as soon as I left my parking space, i was probably going around 5-8MPH but the PSE really is loud in underground parkings. I stopped next to him and said "YES, can i help you" He's like you need to slow down. I said i wasn't even going fast, the exhaust in the car is loud, he's like the speed limit is 5. I have seen cars drive there like 20-25mph in the morning. What the f...k? Parking attendant is around 75years old.

When I left the parking, i was so pissed, with the car stopped I reved up the engine at 6500 RPM, that filled the whole parking lot with pure PSE sound. I probably hear it tomorrow cause he's going to tell the bldg manager . Oh well, I don't give a f...k..

Has anyone ran into old parking attendants that get annoyed by a young guy driving a Porsche?

Theres this lady in my neighborhood that walks these two dogs. Everytime I go by (at 30 mind you, i dont speed in residential areas) she jumps in the road and starts waving her hands for me to slow down. If I'm having a bad day and she makes me mad I go back around in 1st gear going 30 , she loves that one.

Wow, I think that maybe I would try to diffuse the situation because the attendant is just trying to do his job. I personally would befriend the guy and make him feel special and then when I parked my car He would take special notice to watch it. Just my thoughts though.

Yeah, I agree with the last post. No need to **** someone off especially an older guy who's just trying to do his job. Even though he does not know you were going slow. The Porsche is one fast looking car.

I would probably just get in communication with him. If he thought I was driving fast because the car sounded loud, I would agree with him that the car is louder than the usual car, but point out that it is a legal exhaust. It's just louder because it's a sports car.

He's just a guy trying to do his job. I wouldn't take it personally.

I would not antagonize the guy, remember you hand him the keys to your car everyday. I also park underground, and yes it makes my car that much louder, goes with the territory, just play it cool. I tip my guys a couple of hudred a year, they baby my car, well worth every cent.

whenever people in my neighborhood get dumb like that i get a few of my friends with loud exhausts and pull in there driveway at around 2 or 3 in the morning and rev for a minute and leave before they can see us, just long enough to wake them up. never had problems again. it also helps that there are 3 of us with fabspeed bypass pipes on our cars.

not this guy, at age 70,

you really can't make friend with old timer that when he gets in his car , he goes 25 mph lower than speed limit on the fast lane on the freeway. Now if he was a 35 year old parking attendant, yes i agree with you.
