I believe that the control unit for the convertible top of a 1999 C2 Cab is located behind the rear seats. I am able to remove 2 Philips screws and then remove the panel from behind the back seats but I dont seem to be able to get much further. At this point I can see the 2 airbag type metal holders which would release the roll bars behind the heads of the back seat in the case of a car roll over. I need to remove the top part which has the 2 roll over insets in it so I can see the other side of the roll over cannisters. I have removed a further 2 philips screws which attach this top to the cannisters but can get no futher as the top will still not come off. Has anyone any ideas. Thanks.

Sorry I just discovered my 996 essential companion Book explains how to access this compartment..
