My VIS carbon hood is in

My new VIS carbonfiber hood Came in today. I am very happy with the quality, fit and finish. Was def worth every penny. The only part is I wished they already drilled out for the emblem but, I guess I am going to have to do that part myself.

Thank you, the style rim is called monoblock. There are a few companies who make these wheels.

Hi there,

Done the same - beautiful piece of work - gloss or matt finish? Are you going to clearbra it? I`ve used the sticker version of the actual badge, looks pretty good - you wont need to drill into the hood.

Cheers,

Thank you. It's gloss finish, this winter I am having a carbon roof installed and it is gloss finish so I want it all to flow together. No I am not getting the clear bra, I want to be able wax it and keep its original finish. The sun will still beat through the bra and it yellows the clear coat. I was planning on the sticker badge also but, I want it to be a metal badge and not a sticker. I will drill the hood before I put a fake sticker on the car.

Well, if a "fake" sticker is an issue you could always go for the official GT2 RS one from Porsche!

I believe that car came with a CF hood from factory and they used a sticker.

That is correct, and Porsche which puts the CF hood on the GT2 makes it with the stick on badge It looks more authentic with the stick on badge
