I believe it is quite expensive. You'll need new fenders, a new bumper cover and spoiler lip and new headlights at the very least. You may be able to find used parts and cut your cost. You could also consider an aftermarket kit that updates the look to a 997 type of look.

Thank you for your answer, i rather spend 10.000 on a 996 4s then spend so much time and money. I guess it will stay the same, if i need that many parts.

I bought 2002 Turbo headlights (litronics) and fenders for $800. Bumper was $1200 (new aftermarket). I sold the fenders, headlights, and bumper off my car for the same money.

So it can be done without that much expense. Just have to shop around until you find a good deal on the parts...

Cheers

Yup.

Also search for one of my posts as I documented the wiring setup required for the new headlights.

If you can't get the OEM plugs with wiring, I'm using these connectors to make it all work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RED-BAKELITE...ht_1678wt_1091

Oh you'll also need headlight trays for the newer lights. You should check if the fenders you buy come with the plastic headlight trays. If so, you're golden. If not, you can get them for a good price at Suncoast.

Cheers
