Plastidipped my stock wheels, made a little video.

I have been obsessed with this product for awhile now. At under $6 per can,it's an easy way to dress up any part on the car. These are my stock/winter wheels.

The process i used is :

Give the wheels a good wash
Dry them really well.I used a compressor to blow air to dry them off
Do lite coats,You will be doing 5-6 coats so take your time and let it build up.
At the 4th coat, rotate the wheel to get any spots you missed
I suggest 2 cans per wheel,Ive had trouble in the past when spraying when the can is almost empty
Let it dry for 30 minutes before peeling it off the tire

This is completely reversible, the more coats you put on the easier it is to come off.

Looks great. I only recently learned of PlastiDip'ing. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first but after seeing and reading some posts, it has really began to make sense to me.

From what I read, 5 coats is a nice thick coding. Being matte black, you don't really need to clean them, a gentle rinsing with the garden hose will keep it clean.

It is more durable and forgiving than the paint/power coat on the wheel. Whatever is going to do damage to plastidip is definitely going to damage the stock wheel. But you can always spot plastidip the damaged location in 10 mins. I have had no problems as of now.
