Still looking for the right turbo but difficult here in the islands.

If you want the additional speed, sell it and get a 996 Turbo. If you're more in the looks department, sell off your headlights and front bumper to offset the cost and go with a Prior Designs 997 conversion to match the rear. While you're at it get a different and less "girly-man" rear wing.

My $.02

After a lot of thinking, and after talking to the buyer this morning (and saying i wont sell it) i changed my mind, i'm selling it, called buyer & now ball is in his court- i'm kind of sad...but what i'll do i think is also sell my BMW and just get a 997 & go all out..& make it my only car...

PS: That rear wing (OEM) is very subtle + Sporty & matched the original rear bumper well, if i would have put a big rear wing with the original bumper wouldn't have looked right

That is one sexy c2 you got there sir, congrats to the buyer

I'd be pretty sad also, however now the real fun begins, searching for your soon to be 997 along with modding it of course.

The first answer is make up your mind before you start monkeying with other people's time and money. Then do the "big boy" thing and follow through with what you started. I hope he buys it from you but if I were him I would move on to something else.

#1 i dont "monkey" when i hadn't made up my mind, i told the buyer straight up give me 2 days to give you a solid answer, and thats what i did, i committed to selling it! Now no matter what i wouldn't change my mind, "all i got in this world is my word & my *****...and i dont break em for nobody"

I was in your position a year ago. Had my M5 tastefully modded and owned it for 5 yrs. Thought I'd never sell until I got the itch for something else. I had a buyer and backed out before we got into any negotiations or wasting anyone's time. Snatched the for sale ad down and kept her for another 5 months. Then the itch came back and I finally followed through. I regretted the sale right after it was completed. Only because I wasn't sure of what to get. It was between the Porsche and the NSX. Finally got the Porsche and couldn't be happier. Selling the M5 doesn't really bother me now. If you are already seriously considering it....you'll never be happy until you let her go and get that 997. Good Luck!

Thats pretty good price you have it sold for. I would sell and get a 997. The 996 will just keep getting cheaper and cheaper, faster and faster. I really liked mine but it didn't make sense putting a whole lot of money into it because I would of taken a beating. The 997s are doing a little better on the depreciation side.

Haven't Panerais been played out for a few years already? They seem to be the next Rolex where people have to have one. Luckilly I got my Luminor before they became popular and the price increased but it's been like 3 years since I've worn mine.

Can't stand all the "rose gold" rage too but I would take the IWC Pilot in the Bourne Legacy movie without complaints.
