Plastidip a Porsche..........Yup

I attribute plastidip to botox, you're putting harmful chemicals(mixture of paint thinner in this case) on.

Guts! Guts! Guts! Looks great! Like the black accents...maybe more like the intakes, skirts flowing from front lip/lower bumper to back lower bumper...mirrors maybe. Wow, this gives me more ideas to work with.

I bought an Evo that was plastidipped. It looks bad IMO, gas spills make the white look gross, it sucks to get it off, over spray stays on the car forever, door jams are the wrong color, matte white looks like rattle can, it doesn't hold up well after 3-4 months especially in northern areas (maybe a garage kept nice day only car will last longer) and did I mention it looks bad?
Sorry to be so negative but some people don't know what they are getting themselves into with that crap. I didn't plastidipped the car, I purchased it like that and it sucked.
Hope yours is better than mine

Don't think there are any hard & fast rules for messing with your Porsche.
I have a silver 2002 996 with 10 spoke wheels and am dying to dip them red.
I hear here is a gloss available for he final coat and I'm not convinced that he matt finish looks good on the wheels.
Has anyone out there done red wheels w/ Meridian Silver factory paint?
I'd love to see more Porsche photos of you adventurous souls who are plasti-dipping.

it's got sort of an egg shell texture, its great for deciding if you want to go white or not. I definitely think good ole paint is the way to go, but if you're playing with colors its a good option. Might have a different story for you when i try to remove it.
