I bet you never thought you'd be saying that, but you've certainly come to the right place! We not only know how to spend our own money, but we are very good at spending others as well!

I'm more of a "cosmetic" modder, although I'm beginning to think more about a Stage 1 upgrade as well as a new exhaust.

A good next step would be new wheels. Check out the wheels/tires forum. There are dozens of pictures.

You could also add some more CF. The rear center console looks great too.

One things for sure, you certainly do need help!

I have a Mod addiction like the majority of the guys on this site. I think this forum of our version of AA, but we encourage rather then encourage.

I just bought my car (still in transit from NJ) My car has some great options that saves me time I love the look of the color coded center console, Colored gauge faces, alum shifter and ebrake. Here are some mods that are hapening during the month of November...

PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) Sitting in my Garage begging to be installed
2004 GT3 Wing (Wicked Sweet!)
ROW M030
TechArt Black GT 18" wheels (Twists will go on Ebay soon)
B&M Short Shift Kit
Litronic Headlights
Clear side repeaters
Traffic Pro Navigation System
Rennline Alum. Pedals (sitting in my Garage)
3M film for the Front
Color coded bumperettes (Eric @ Bumperplugs.com)
Lidatek Jammer
Hardwire V1
Garage door opener wired to console switch
Hard wire V60 w/Techart Console
Silver hood crest

These can give you a start. I am a fan of the 3M protection up front if you have not done so.

Lightbulb

Congratulations - I also just received my 996 - 2001 Lapis Blue C2 with full GT aero kit (including the GT rear 'fins' - do these actually DO anything?), suspension and brakes (although only the fronts look larger - is this correct?).

As for mods - I am going for:-

I changed the wheels (I am not a fan of chromed wheels) for Sport Design 18's.
Bumper Plugs & Door Plug (arrived today)
Evo Intake (I know this doesn't nesessarily add power - but I like the sound)
Clear Sidemarkers (the only orange glass/plastic on the car)
Silver coated indicator bulbs
Short Shifter - not sure which

future (2004) will include the exhaust (from other's opinions the fabspeed appears to be a leading contender) and some interior aluminum trim (the interior is bland graphite grey and needs something!) - probably starting with the dial surrounds.

-Terry
