upgrading brakes on my anniversary

So I found out the 04 anniversary has the standard brakes and not the C4s or Turbo. The car just doesn't stop as well as I think it should, pads look good and just flushed my fluid.
So my question is can I bolt on turbo red calipers and rotors? Will they fit with my stock 18 wheels? Will the computer think something is different? Any other thoughts maybe softer pads that provide more friction? Could my 04 been ordered with larger brakes?
Thanks

I would have it looked at prior to investing in new brakes. My brakes stop like nothing else. Stock brakes with original pads and I've never even jammed on the brakes and it stops instantly. Maybe there's something else going on. Do you have fresh fluid?

lots involved in a swap to Turbo brakes, you have to change carriers and such....not a simple bolt on! You'd be better of going with something aftermarket... but I agree, have them looked at cause I have never thought that I need more braking power, there really isn't much to improve on, I think there may be some issue... is the pedal firm?

It seems like a lot of customers like the Hawk or the RedStuff performance pads. Do you track the car at all or just aggressive street use ? For more information on the pads we offer Click Here.

The standard boxster has smaller brakes than the 996. I track my car without big brakes and they work fine. I bet you have some aftermarket pads. Stay with OE as most aftermarket pads don't work as good especially the low dust stuff. I have use OE for track days and they work fine, but however the don't stand up to extreme heat if you're really hard on brakes. It depends on your use of the car. If its just DD and some hot runs in the canyon hills then OE is all you'll need. If track days are in your mind I like Pagid or Performance Friction.
