Fitment question for Tire/Wheel Gurus...

Hi new to the 996 section...

I've done quite a bit of research and seems there are so many different applications that may or may not fit.

I just picked up amn 01' 996 and I am considering upgrading to a new set of 19" wheels (specs below) and have been advised to go with 225/35/19 Front - 285/30/19 Rear which seem a bit narrow to me and would prefer a 235/35/19 Front - 295/30/19 Rear, but will it rub on a Narrow Boday 996 with H&R Cilovers? I do not want to rub and do not want to roll fenders.

Here are the specs of the wheels:

Staggered set up

Size:
2) 19 x 8.5 Front
2) 19 x 11 Rear

Offset: +45 Front / +52 Rear

What do you tire gurus suggest?

Given the aftermarket ET's, 235/295 should be fine. I am currently running 245/275 on 19's by 8.5/10 with a one inch drop with no issues. And, I am planning on 235 up front next time around. I am not familiar with the H&R coilover stats. But, if your drop is less than 2" over OEM you should be fine. Good luck.

Every tire manufacturers sizes vary a bit. Toyo, for example is pretty much the exact size that they say that they are. Check the specs of the a few of sizes of the brands you are interested in to compare the variance.

Thanks. I went with 235/35/29 - 285/30/19 to be safe althrough I really wanted the 295, but didn't want to take any chances. I can always widen the rear later if there is room. I'll post photos once installed.

I have put as large as 315/25 in the rear. I do recomend to stay with the smaller 295/30 though.
