Thoughts on a 99 C2 with 128k miles...
Got the car!..I am more excited than any other new car i've gotten before, including the 987 boxster I used to have...gonna clean and detail the car tomorrow and will post pics..let the fun begin...woohoo!!!
Congrats on the purchase and glad everything worked out, you got a great deal. What are your plans for modifications ? I would consider some Euro Clear Side Markers first thing though.
So, some years ago I bought a great Audi, well maintained, great condition, long distance travel only 122K miles. During the 4 years I kept the vehicle ( and I am a stickler for maintenance) I spend on average 5K dollars per year (new air bags, rebuild the complete suspension as all the rubber bushings basically has their EOL (end of life ) experience. Add new belts, some electronic modules that went up the creek etc. You get the idea. At that mileage you will get to deal with these things. Moral of MY story. Never again! I hope, your experience will be easier on your check book! :-)
