If a car is CPO do you still need to get a PPI?

 

I would. I want an independent opinion of the car and is the dealer selling it really going to give you that?

 

I would as well, if they find anything it'll give you some leverage on the price and the dealer will need to fix it.

 

I would too. I've read many posts from those claiming to have a CPO vehicle that were getting the run around or not having something covered that they thought would be. Your PPI will let you know if there is something going on, or developing, so you can address that with the dealership -BEFORE TRYING TO GET IT COVERED LATER.
