I love the way the Ferrari Enzo looks. It only has the Tach in color and the rest in black. I decided to do the same to my C4S. What do y'all think?

I searched everyone and check with everyone and no one sells just one. Brandywine gave me a good deal for the under car B&M SSK with the full set of guage faces together so I did it. I now have the rest of them unused.

Awesome driving in the day time. When doing spirited driving, the other guages are useless.

Sorry. Never liked the siver rings. I felt it's a distraction. I'm all for the Porsche philosophy. Having the tach in the center and make it the most important part of the guages.

I've noticed the markings on colored face gauges don't light as brightly as standard black face gauges, is there a noticible difference between yellow and black at night?

Ditto on the trim rings.

 

Yes. There is a difference at night. There is even a difference in the day time. There just nothing beats the contrast of black and white. But I am willing to live with it because I think color is cool.

It took me a few tries to get that shot. The numbers reflect the flash like there is no tomorrow.

Another cool thing (at least I think) is that the high beam indicator is now green instead of blue. Yellow and blue makes green. I'm sure other colors might come out other colors.

 

I like is as well, have you thought about changing the needle to a different color (ie blue of black)??

 

that looks awesome. i thought of doing that with silver since my car is silver. was it a difficult install..... i may get it done if i think i can handle it!

 

No other color needles in the future. I like it just the way it is.

Installation is very easy. The problem is that you can't go back to original if you don't like it. I'll do a write up later on how to change it and explain the details.

 

I've done the write up. Not very pretty but hope it helps.
