Need Opinion - Wheel Stripe?

I am thinking about having a yellow stripe painted on my black wheels to match the caliper. I played around with some vinyl last night to get a rough sense of how it would look. I welcome any feedback.

It's very much a matter of personal taste, so you'll probably get lots of different opinions here. Personally, I like it. The question is: do you like it? If so, then go for it.

I like it but the yellow accent only reflects on the lower half of the car. I'd probably vinyl wrap the outside mirrors too.

Thumbs up

Not a fan of aftermarket looking add-ons & I think the "murdered out" black wheels thing has run it's course. I think the yellow stripe on your wheels looks great especially with your matching calipers. Even better when the car is in motion.

Go for it. I saw a Turbo Panamera with that look a few days ago and thought it looked pretty sweet. Curious what kind of paint you would use that won't fade or come off when you clean your tires/wheels.

I like it. I would go with a thinner stripe though.

Thanks guys! Appreciate the quick feedback. I do think a little thinner would look better and I will find out what paint my body shop used when he did the calipers (they have held up very well after a bunch of washings and ).... I am assuming he would use same for the wheels.. Thanks again!

Did you thought of a machined stripe at all?

I like it too -- breaks up the visuals a bit. Otherwise, the black wheels and tires kind of get lost with the black car. I thought about doing the same with my color matched wheels (except it would be red stripes).

I'm not a fan of the blacked out look but of the two, I like the stripe. I've got a black C2 Cab with Chrome turbo twists and black calipers. I've been thinking of painting my calipers when I replace the break lines so it is nice to see your pictures. Thanks.
