Exclamation I Need Help!

I hate for my first post to show how lame I am, but some things can't be helped. I had my last 911, a 1972 "T" for 30 years. I recently bought on ebay a 2001 996 from many states away. When it arrived, well lets just say my new friend and I will be spending many hours getting to know each other in my garage. Bottom line, I purchassed/joined a service of online video repair manuals. I remember I was impressed enough to want to get a secound membership for my wife's 2005 X3 BMW, but now I cannot remember the link to get back to the site. I can best describe the service as beijng like the Bentely manual, where It shows actual video of the repair being done. Anyone have any Idea of what I speak?
Here's an easier one. I have seen people talk about getting the "heavy duty" strut for the rear deck lid. Mine has to be replaced. Any suggestions as to part numbers or a source?

I dont know of what you speak but lots of work being done on 996 on Youtube. That may help until you find the other one.

You don't need to subscribe, just do a search on Youtube for what you wan to do and you'll more than likely find a video. Also, google porsche repair manuals and different ones will come up to purchase.

As FLA996TT said there are many manuals out there that are free. Not sure what one your talking about though, the part number your looking for is 99651255103 for the rear deck lid. Feel free to PM me with any questions. Also we need a couple pictures of this newly acquired ride.

Check your browser "history". Most people do not manage their browsing history, and by default, your browser will store a pretty long history of where you have been. Depending on which browser/OS you are using will determine how to access history, but the "help" should have a section on history.
