Looking to buy 2004 911 cabriolet and there are marks on both sides of the top. Seems like it came from the hardware when the top was closed. The car was stored with the top down by previous owner.
Are there ways to get the marks off? One of the marks is a 3 inch circle.
Any ideas, before I buy this car.

 

My car has the same circle marks on both sides. I found if you clean with a brush and re-seal the circles lessen. Both as soon you start putting the top down they come back.

 

Keep the top up when parked

The circle is from a rubber pad on the clam shell

The wrinkle on the c pillar is due to folding. Can be removed with steamer or just spray water under the sun

 

I have a 2004 996 TT and have the same circles on my rag top.

 

I have the same issue. Not super noticeable but they are there.
