Thanks! The RR isn't mine - it was part of a Keith Code Superbike School track event I went to at Barber and the bikes belong to them. It's an insane machine. Much more capable than almost any rider in the world. I would love to have one but when it's so powerful you can't even go full throttle without getting a serious brain twisting headache, I have to ask "why"?

When I picked up my C4S it had the GT3 wheels. They still look outstanding when I see them. I went to 19's but I still haven't sold mine. May put them back on at some point. Your car looks really good!

Oh yeah....loving the garage! I really need a lift!
Yup, that was me. Hey, if you ever decide to sell the GT3 wheels, PM me if they are in decent shape. I could use a spare set.

They were done by the previous owner so I don't know anything about them yet. I tried to get the car on the lift but it's too low and the wheel base is so short that I'm going to have to figure something out. I may raise the ride height just enough to get it on the lift, but so far I've not decided. I'll keep you posted.

That was quick. So are you upgrading or just downsizing the fleet ?

Downsizing. I had grand plans to return to the track later this year but with my family and 4-year old's busy schedule it doesn't seem realistic. We have 2 drivers and 4 cars. Don't really need that many!

Welcome. I used to have a e39 M5, but I still have a few BMW's around. E34 535i beater, s50b32 e36M3 and of course an e30 M3. I love both cars, and they are very different beasts.

Nice garage, I bet it took a lot of work to end up with a layout that clean.

S50B32 M3 eh? I had one for track use. I still miss that car. The engine is amazing.

Just wondering, how would you compare the 996 experience VS a BMW M car.

Not really. I have barely put any miles on it. Almost 400 of the ~1600 miles it has on it since I bought it were driving it home from the seller in GA. The rest are around town. It hasn't been to an autocross or track event so I can't truly compare. It does seem to rotate a bit more easily than the BMWs (when you don't want it to) but beyond that, and it being very small and light, I don't have much in the way of hardcore driving experience with it yet.
