I just heard from the Players Run!!

I just got an email and a call from Markus confirming my entry as car 75 into the Players Run for 2004. Funny thing is, I'm still awaiting delivery on my 2004 996 Anyways, dealer tells me its going to be a December delivery. I'll have plenty of time to do some mods before it starts... So is anyone else going to be in the run?

They're going to run it from NY to LA in June. I think their website isnt updated yet though. You should fill out the app, let's get some more Pcars in there!!

http://www.playersrun.com/

i know one of the people who is helping organize the event. if you are interested, PM me and i can get you a contact. the person can get you accepted with no questions asked and for $9800 instead of the usual 11k whatever.

Its a great event, looks like a lot of fun, but its no gumball. If i ever pay so much to have so much fun then it would be the gumball only cause its one of those things on my list which i would do before i grow old and am fond of bentleys and rolls royces instead of porsches and lamborghinis

I didn't quite understand it either, but the way it sounded he was giving drivers choice of #'s. I of course went for 69 which was taken. The run will be from jun 5-12. Zeo, do you know what activities will be planned for this year during the run? They didn't go into much detail with me

Trust me, I'd love to do Gumball, actually I'd love to do both, but I'm waiting for next year when it comes stateside. After calling around and seeing what it would cost to ship the car over and back, along with fines, airline tickets, etc. it seemed to make more sense to wait til it comes here. Hopefully next year I'll be able to do both!! :-D
