Brake pads and silicone air intakes
Brake pads and silicone air intakes
My '03 C2 with 12k on it is due for new brake pads. It's used primarily for autocross now, so any recommendations for replacement pads? The OEM Porsche pads have been great (brake dust aside), but what are the thoughts on Hawks or Akibonos? Who are your favorite vendors?
Also, I was thinking about that red silicone air intake to replace the stock baffled one. Who makes a good one, and any drawbacks?
Thanks,
David

I have installed the silicone air intake hose along with a K&N free flow filter in the original air box and I did notice a difference. When You hit it you can actually hear the engine sucking air in! I got the silicon intake hose from MaxSpeed out of Canada and am pleased with it.
I think the Hawk performance pads or the HP Plus would work great for you in autocross. For information on the Brake pads we offer Click Here.
