Are you adverse to the cupholder s for the earlier style dash? Here is a link.

I have these in my car and they work pretty good. I put the climate control in the lower section and the radio below these cupholders.

I know many like the ultimate cupholders but I found then annoying. Constantly hitting my leg on them.

I installed a double din in the upper unit because it replaced a Navigation unit. Otherwise I would have had to install a regular carriage in there to move the climate control and install cupholder, then move the double din stereo to below.


That is an option, but I already purchased the cartridge style before thinking.

Time to list it on ebay.

Those just seem flimsy to me? Also my daughter would have either a warm or cold drink depending on how I set the temp that day.
