Hey guys I have a 2000 carrera cab and my abs light turns on while driving. When i turn the car off naturaly it goes off.I drive it later and the light doesnt stay on but eventually it comes on again.I cant find a fault because the light has to stay on.Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?

 

Check your brake pedel switch.

 

I had similar problem. It turned out to be a occasional short circuit of one of the ABS sensors to ground. Its helpful if you have diagnostic tool to narrow it down. Otherwise if you disconnect ABS connector you can measure resistance of individual sensors and their their resistance to ground.
