does anyone know how to extend exhaust tips out further ? is there an extension piece that can be used ? See the attached picture to help explain the issue.

 

It looks like you've got a turbo/C4S bumper cover on a narrow body car and it's not quite fitting properly (because it's a wide body bumper cover), causing the tips to appear sunken into the bumper. Are they OEM tips? You should be able to loosen them and manipulate them a bit to pull them out. That being said, the fit of that bumper cover may not allow you to pull them out far enough to look right.

 

You might want to consider aftermarket tips or Ebay I would double check the fitment of that bumper if I were you
