Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello all,

I have searched google and the forums and wonder if I am not calling this part the right thing. Since picking up my car, I have noticed that the convertible top rails do not line up quite right on one side and one sticks out abit. Is this something that is a fix I can do on my own or do I need to take it to a shop? I have attached a circled pic so that you get an idea.

Thanks in advance!

I wish I knew the name so I could help you cause that would drive me nuts also. Go to your local Porsche dealer and ask the service guy go come out and look at it. He will tell you what it is and also give you some crazy price quote from Porsche. Tell him you will be back and then run home and look it up on Google. I just hope it is a part you can buy and its not that you need a whole new piece. What's causing it to not line up? Maybe you don't even need a new piece.

It might not be the part that's the problem. The straps and/or cables between the top and the headliner might need adjusting. I would check there first before ordering new parts.

I agree it probably needs some adjusting.

That was my original thought, that's why I asked.
